I had my AGU mapped by r tech when it was completely standard.
since then I have added, full milltek + decat, ths fmic, 007p and panel filter.
i've had my k04-001 sat for a while, and have decided to get it fitted with a forge actuator and silicone tip.
now for the questions..
i also need saab red injectors, lcr fuel pump, vr6 maf housing and top half of airbox to suit. would i be right in saying the fuel pump can be fitted before map, but the rest will be left with r tech?
when the k04-001 is fitted, how will it drive with a k03 map? am i able to drive it with the n75 plugged in, just not be heavy footed until the car is mapped? thanks!

Where did you get your 001 from?:)
-
i thought you were suppose to be answering the questions
turbo dynamics, £771.18
price seems to have gone up slightly since!

backdraft motorsport ko4-001 http://www.backdraftmotorsport.com/k04-1-turbo-charger.html
-
that's like £900 with VAT
-
prices have gone up a hell of alot for the ko4-001 you might as well buy a hybrid for that off littco or there was one for sale in the classifieds for £300 but i dont no if hes put it back on his car

lol

Pump fine before, just put injectors and maf housing on when getting mapped.

Unplug the n75!
And be careful with the right foot! Leaving it plugged in could cause boost spikes and possibly blow the engine!
As sai by others got the pump and leave te res to r-tech
-
lovely, think i'm almost sorted. i have an n75 j valve, anyone know if this will be an issue?
-
I'm not to sure
Always been told to just keep the one it should have!
-
car will drive OK, but will be spikey and unsafe if you leave the N75 plugged in.
Unplug the N75 and you can drive it as hard as you like before it's mapped, it'll never trouble it.
-
thanks for all the info. just need to save £390 for the remap now
will get the turbo fitted just before the date of remap hopefully.
i've driven with n75 disconnected before, i think i can run quicker
-
Depending on your actuator setup, N75 unplugged will give you around 6psi of boost and 150bhp, very much like stock.
I used to unplug the N75 on my daily during the week and drive around with 150bhp saving money, then plug it back in on a Friday night and enjoy another 80bhp for the weekend!
-
is there a possible chance that unplugging it will throw it into limp mode?
i guess that would make your car seem faster than what it is
-
No, it won't go into limp mode when you unplug the N75, but it will throw an ''n75 circuit open'' fault code, which doesn't cause any harm.
I run a switch on my N75 so I can switch between low (274bhp) and high (300bhp) boost whilst driving around. Works brilliantly.

Need to do this on mine...
