hey guys as stated above, i've got my eye set on vredestein ultrac sessanta's for my new rims come next spring as i dont want to destroy them in the snow n badweather. but im torn between them and Uniroyal Rainsport 2's :undecided:
wondering what peoples thoughts are on this?
-
I'm running Goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric 2's and they are awesome!
-
thanks for evil money spending tips again mate, im currently saving up for that turbo back as well :lipsrsealed:
so then its a tosse up between the Goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric 2's and Vredestein Ultrac Sessanate, any more pennies for the pot people?
-
Goodyear F1 ASY 2's as well
Awesome tyre but they do wear very quickly.

.....

I would definatly recommend gettin water/meth and wait a extra month for the map.
I don't have it but after seeing the results I wish I had got it prior!!

They nearly convince you the golf can go round corners quick
-
perrelli p zero's great when warm.... scary when cold lol
-
I have p zero's on the back, will definatly say the good years are better as you can quite easily put mine into a controlled drift

Mine are on the front, and I've got hankook at the rear and like I said... Quite terrifying when there cold, but warmed up they stick the the road like glue.... But that is over ridden by the fact when cold = TERRIFYING lol

I've Vreds and I cant fault them. I find them very good in most conditions.

Never had so much confidence while driving with 4 yoko paradas on all 4 corners. Super tyre, so good in the dry. Never any issues with them, even in the snow :lipsrsealed:
I know people say this tyre that tyre is only good in the wet/dry etc, however I feel that if it is tipping buckets, or near freezing/snowing then don't drive like a fool, if you drive to conditions/the speed limit :lipsrsealed:  then I'm sure a budget tyre will perform just as well as a premium one!
But my money would be on a parada

You obviously don't drive properly
-
Rainsports for me, although I run P6000's on the back to make it remotely fun to drive.
-
Different league from tyres mentioned above but the Michelin pilot cup sport are highly rated and gets the thumbs up from me.
-
I use Avons, used to use Pirelli and they are truly frightening in the wet, I wouldn't even run 4 of them for a bet

well just got offered a bargain bucket with Vreds and 18" Dare Motorsport polished rim/18" Calibre Vintage deep rims on 8j front and 9j rear (help me out with what this means someone please....is it that the front tyres will be an inch smaller than the rears?) for just shy of a grand and theyre in black with polished rim and look the nuts on both sets, WILL NOT BE GOING ON UNTIL AFTER WINTER :lipsrsealed:
-
I know the ones. Brand new vreds in 18s are probably over 400 soo your looking at 600 for the alloys...up to you i guess! I just spent 750 on some alloys and tyres :lipsrsealed:

I had rainsports on front of 250bhp 1.8T and they wouldnt spin no matter how hard you tried. Moved onto eagle F1 ASY 2 but never got time to fully test them. but the reviews they got on tyre reviews are about 96% all round.
