Hi is it worth changing my HT leads along with the rotator arm and dizzy cap?? Also thinking changing gear box oil?? Cheers
-
Is there anything wrong with your current ones?
-
Not sure really, one lead to the spark plug is a bit worn....just thought it would be wise to replace them as they have been on the car since day one? They expensive tho about £50
-
All three of those jobs are well worth doing, i changed the cap/rotor and leads this summer (ha) and it felt sharper and smoother, i also changed the g/box oil which is a very easy job and the change is lovely and slick now.

Gearbox oil is always worth doing... smells lovely too

Are the basic HT leads which are about £40 ok?
-
The cap and rotor are Bosch/Lucas parts anyway but for the leads i went main dealer just for peace of mind, they were about £20 each i think.
