Title: Lowering my MK4 45mm
Post by: Chris01243 on 15 October 2012, 00:39
Basically I might buy some -45mm lowering springs.

Will i have to buy a new ARB to go under the driveshaft or will it be ok with no rubbing etc?
Really concerned that it may rub :-/

Thanks a lot

I had no problems when I trial fitted the 45mm spax springs that I have for sale on my tdi 130, also in the past I had Eibach Sportline springs which lower the front about 50mm, again no rubbing issues, I think when they say 'over 40mm' they are on the side of caution and you can go a bit lower before you get any driveshaft issues.
