Title: Mk3 calipers on Mk2 - difinitive buying guide
Post by: Tomonator1985 on 14 October 2012, 15:32
been reading the many threads on the mk3 calipers for late mk2's. loads of info but i wondered if anyone has seen or made an actual shopping list??

just need to change the rear calipers as they keep seizing so,

do i need to change:

discs?
Brake Carriers?
Pads?
Sliders?

what can i keep from the parts that are on the mk2 1989 golf already?

Thanks,

mk3 calipers are just as bad as mk2 ones.

Go mk4 (not 4 motion). You need the goodrich brake lines (banjo end) and they are a direct fit.

Absolutely!

C&R Enterprises sell the conversion pipes along with a few traders on the Bay.
