Title: Picked up freshly refured wheels
Post by: scarr89 on 14 October 2012, 15:15

Just picked up some new alloys, thanks to Lee C

Now currently they are orange,

and I have no intention of keeping them this colour so will be dropping them off at

http://www.citypowdercoating.co.uk/#!__gallery1

some point this week I hope, but am undecided on the colour at the mo!

Citypowdercoaters can do almost any colour, but I am torn between some sort of anthracite/matt black/gloss sparkly black/'standard' silver/sparkle silver.

They will be fitted to a reflex silver dub

Do you like the look of black wheels on a sliver car?  If so go black if not a nice standard looking sliver.

I'v seen a few sparkly colours...I'm temtped for one fo those options. Just not sure if my car is 'good enough' for it? If you get me?  :lipsrsealed:

Old kawasaki green
candy red

Are you mad? My balls aren't that big! I'd need to follow the colour scheme, and my seats are blue at the mo...possibly a blue? Spray both badges blue?  Calipers blue? Surely not...

Green would look cool I reckon...anyone handy with photo shop!

Candy red on sliver.

I like some of the real light blues. The orange will go with you blue seats.

I really like Black on sliver and I think the style of wheel you have the black will suit it well.

Pictures please once fitted.

I am doing bbs ch rims which are currently also orange... My golf is black tho. But I was thinking black, with baby blue/turquoisy flecks in, very thinly tho, so you can catch it in the sun as my scheme inside is baby blue to match my baby's car seat lol.

Refurb cost me £140 from Citypowdercoaters in Brum! £30 each wheel, and £5 per wheel to remove the tyres!

Couldn't fit them today as my tyre fitting place couldn't stretch the rear 225 tyres over the 10J wheel

Going to order some 235/35 for the rear I reckon  Won't be fitting for a couple of weeks now...
