Title: Knocking noise from suspension over speedbumps
Post by: Black9 on 13 October 2012, 13:37
Just bought my ED30, great car

When driving over speedbumps or rough surfaces I'm hearing a knocking noise from the front left suspension. Sounds like there's something loose and knocking Against something else...

Any ideas what this could be? Poss need the front subframe bolt & spacer mod?

Could be a number of things, but usual suspect would be the top mount. Has it gradually got worse over time? If so then it is even more possible.

Only owned the car since Wednesday but it's more like a clicking noise. Gonna get car on the ramp and get it checked. I'll replace the bolts and spacers anyway. Does anyone have a TPS part number for them?
