Been thinking about a de-cat for my adz , but couldn't find one let alone a good price .
So my plan is to go down the scrap yard find 1.8's (mine has the cat part of the down pipe ) unbolt the down pipe , cut the pipe of just before the cat , weld the required pipe on and ta daaa a de-cat
Now wondering as I'm at it , and if it works successfully would anyone be interested in me making them one up and selling them it ?

Decat on a mk3 is like a blunt pencil. Pointless

I'm not expecting any gains , just feel like experimenting

Get it done, then you can put two fingers up to the enviroment

Now that's more like the encouragement I expected from you guys
Like I said not looking for gains or anything just like to fiddle and see what I can do without ruining an expensive car ,

save your efforts for something thats worthwhile

Go for it i just hate the ball ache of remove, mot, replace.
