Title: One for the 1.8 8v owners
Post by: spudboy6 on 12 October 2012, 19:16
Been thinking about a de-cat for my adz , but couldn't find one let alone a good price .

So my plan is to go down the scrap yard find 1.8's (mine has the cat part of the down pipe ) unbolt the down pipe , cut the pipe of just before the cat , weld the required pipe on and ta daaa a de-cat

Now wondering as I'm at it , and if it works successfully would anyone be interested in me making them one up and selling them it ?

Decat on a mk3 is like a blunt pencil. Pointless
