So changed the sway bars last weekend, but since doing so the top mounts make this seeking noise... That metal on rubber sort of noise. Is there any cure for this?
Well i think it's the top mounts...
-
this front or rear??
-
Yes, new top mounts
-
On the front end, also it's only when I turn. The mounts are six months old! Now way they gonna perish in six months!
-

Want to bet?
I've seen f**ked top mounts after 1 month and that's because they where cheap.
What ones did you buy?
-
no idea tweed cant remember, they wer from euro car parts, .... the new ones wer making more noise than the old .....
-
On my MK3 I used to go through genuine mounts in 5 months and ultra cheap ones lasted literally a month, they were about 6 quid though! In the end I just paid 15 a time and they lasted 3 months.

They are from eurocar parts, £55 those buggers cost! What if you grease the hell outa them? Will that not make a difference?
