iv got a 51 plate golf with engine AUM was thinking of getting a ko3s turbo but reading say it may already have one fitted how can I check?

Cheers and what's a forge actuator do seen it under ur comment, it turn the turbo up?

Its basically a rod that keeps the wastegate on the turbo closed, the standard actuator gets weak over time and causes weak boost levels.
Its a worthwhile mod but id be looking on replacing the DV with a forge 007p or similar and the pcv system first as if yours is standard then theyl need changing by now.

What's a dv lol I'm not that clued up on what's needed to make a turbo faster other then remaps

Ahh rite a dump valve never clicked on haha, how hards it to fit a forge actuator need fine tuning to it opens and shuts at the correct times?
