Title: Misfire Help Please
Post by: Mikesps on 10 October 2012, 17:25
Cars been misfiring for a couple of weeks now and its doing my nut in!

Its a 1.8t agu. I took it to a local vw specialist and they tried new/swapping the coil packs which didnt help. They eventually told me it was down to the maf. So they replaced the maf and it was fine for a couple of days....Then it started misfiring again. Its showing no fault codes but the garage said something about it showing up as all cylinders playing up

Any ideas what it could be?

Thanks

Yeah check on your air box mate, youl see a bosch sensor with two plugs.
This is the ignition amp, this controls the coil packs in some way.
Quite common on AGU for these to fail.
