Hi, do any 1.3 mk2s come with antiroll bars? If not will gti antiroll bars fit? Front and back...
Cheers

From what ive read, I dont think the 1.3 has either a front or a rear ARB.
There is an additional stiffner in the rear beam on GTi models, so its a case of swapping out the rear beam or fitting an aftermarket ARB.
I suspect you can fit the GTi front bar along with bushes and drop links to fit to the existing wishbones and subframe, as I would have thought they were the same items. But check this with another source.

All the above is correct :)

Cheers lads. Is the rear axle a straight swap? Also ove seen read mk3 or corrado beam can be used to give a wider track, is this true? If so a straight swap?
-
Yeah rear beam is a straight fit, but if you also upgrade to disc brakes you'll need to add a brake compensator and a couple of flexi hoses.
I believe the mk3 rear beams are all roughly the same width, search google as think there's a thread on clubgti where someone measured a load of beams.
To widetrack front you can go mk3 but will be 5x100. To stay 4x100 is more hassle then it's worth really, passat parts I believe, again search google and lots of threads.

Hi again, when itt comes to fitting the front anti roll bar i need drop links and inner bushes, but i think i need some sort of clamps for the inner bushes, if im right where can i get them from?
Thanks

Wanted ad or vw, I bought a couple from the dealers a while back, only a couple of quid.

pretty sure euro car parts sell the clamps
