Hey guys, wanted to install my Newsouth Boost gauge today, I read Cully's & a few other DIY installs but for the love of me I seriously cannot find anywhere that I can feed the Boost line into the cockpit, I looked where people say to put it and I do not seem to have anywhere for it to go? Being as mine is an AUM does that make my firewall different? there seems to be carpet on my firewall..
This is the right hand side of my engine bay, as you can see there is no where for my boost lead to go??

Any ideas guys?

I ran mine through the rubber seal above the lid on the drivers side under the scuttle panel. If you unbolt the lid, you can see the interior of the car. I then ran it along under where the scuttle panel would be and through the trunking under the airbox..

sorry to sound stupid but when you say lid? where do you mean?

It's o.k. Lid is a stupid explanation..
If you take the scuttle panel off, in the area where the steering wheel would be, you should see a white square, which should have wires leading to it. The rubber sleaving for one of the cables that leads into that is where my boost gauge feeds in to the car..

Thanks, I have read in the past that to remove that pannel is a huge headace thou?

Not really. Took me about an hour to do the gauge, that was at a leisurely pace as well.

If you go through the bonnet cable grommet, be sure to seal it with a little silicone afterwards.
