Golf mk4 1.8t AUM
Right when I start engine the car runs fine turbo boosting good and nothing happening different
But after about half a mile when engine is getting warmer the car does not rev as quick like I'm not pressing the accelerater enough. Can still hear the turbo spoolin.
The car is ticking over fine, no boost leaks or other problems at all. Also no fault codes
Does any one have a idea? Been looking and it could be maf???
Any one had similar problem?

it'll all be guesswork unless you can get some decent logging data from the engine. Try cleaning the throttle body and intake air temp sensor to begin with
-
you can also remove the plug off the MAF and see if it runs better
-
Faulty DV caused this in mine, but doesn't mean it's the same problem for you.

Cheers for the advice, I can't understand at all, it seems not enough petrol is been used for the amount I'm pressing the accelerator
It's lost power right from tick over to redline, consistant.
I tried the unplugging the maf sensor but I have also been told unplugging it won't help.

Right problem solved, it was the coolebt temp sensor
I knew it had to be a sensor and I started with the cheapest lol and got lucky I suppose because I had no clue what problem was.
I'm abit baffled why no fault code came up
Cheers for the suggestions

i get this a little bit, but im certain its my maf, my car gives me shi**y mpg and drinks like a bit**, i can also feel the power loss since the maf went

Faulty coolant temp sensor appears as a fault code under 17 Instruments rather than the engine module on VAGCOM. Well thats what Ive found anyway
