where you would mention that you flashed or waved a fellow golf owner and maybe identify weather they are on this site etc..

yeh good point. Waved a mk1 last night, and have been lookin over the various forums. Would be good to have a section on here.

you do realise how many VWs have been built?

its a waste of a section, not even the VX220 boys where 1/3rd of all owners are a member see each other!

nah not a waste of forum at all, it worked very well on the polo forum i was once a member of, very fun ideed, the fact that its rare makes it all the more fun when it works  :smiley:

ooo....i done my first "yoo-hoo" to a girlie in a mk1 cab the other day...was nice to acknowledge..shame she was goin the other way or wud hav got her with a flyer.. :laugh:

Wots with the no-show goers bashin like..surely its up to each individual if they go or not...i mean...dif people have dif circumstances..lack o finances....work/family commitments...sounds a tad pressured "u must go to a show..or else ur not really a member of this forum..ggggrrrr" :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

The other day, on the M56 I saw an Atlas grey Mk2 with a golfgti.co.uk sticker in the side window.  Didn't recognise the driver tho.

yeah but thats from a Lupo forum, there thousands more golfs than Lupo`s, i dont even see one a week i dont think, and if i do its the same one every time nearly
