Title: r32 style dash trim fitting
Post by: cooki on 07 October 2012, 10:42
few questions realy guys.
ive read all the fitting guids so got a good idea but still unsure on a few bits.

are the ashtray covers easily swapped over or do i need a hole ashtray?
how do u remove the radio side panels? (down and oit ive read).
also mines a 4 door so do the wooden inserts just pop out of the handles and i just stick the ali ones in with sumthin?

cheers guys :)

Hi mate I don't know about the ashtray cover but I would like to find out myself  as for the wooden inserts, they are glued in place and need to be pulled out, I broke mine when I got them out so be careful, the best way is to get a knife and try and cut your way along it, I found this out way too late ha ha, unless anyone else has any ideas?

Some side radio cage trim bits slide down and pop off, others the whole radio cage is to come out. :)

If they are wood they will be the type that come off without needing to pull the cage out
