Title: Absolute VW Virgin!!
Post by: karlwhite on 07 October 2012, 08:22
Hi guys

As title suggest this is my first VW... Im not new to the german car scene (mainly BMWs) but have long awaited the time for a proper car...

I have a Mk2 16v 91'  in oak green. completely standard and original but in a bit of a mess...

the car looks like it has had a fight with a tiger as it has been used as a work bench in storage (not by myself may i add!) the car has not been on the road since 2008. i have stripped all trim and interior to check for rust and can not see a bubble!  :smug:

the brake lines underneath have been ripped off by the compensator as it was delivered on a bodge up recovery truck! after i get it back on the road and through the mot it will be getting painted. i just need some advise on a few mechanical upgrades while im there replacing said items...

hope you can help...

Regards

Karl
