Title: MOT today-passed but need help with an advisory please!
Post by: jnielow on 06 October 2012, 16:21
Dear All,

How is everyone?, liking the new look site not been on for a while!

Took car to get MOT done today passed with 2 advisories, one I have dealt with not bad with 150K on clock. The other advisory is coolant leak from radiator!, I forgot to ask where!. Anyway the coolant level was alittle high could it be just chucking the excess out so levels off at max?, or if its a leak can a temporary fix been done using something like radweld? The leak is not major as I check level regularly and its dropped a small fraction from last time.

As you can see I am not mechanic, but would like some suggestions on some products I could use.

Many Thanks

Jason
