Title: Knocking noise

From rear passenger side of car is there sometimes but not others and is only when the suspension is traveling help please

Rear beam mount or top mount.
But I would firstly check to see if the exhaust is loose.

Possibly but you'd notice that more as the back end would feel all loose and wallowy, the previous posts are more likely as the rear suspension on a mk3 is pretty simple.

I know my shocker is leaking looked at it today and there's more fluid out of it than in it

There you go then best get it changed as its a dead easy job to do and your probably better off changing both sides and the top mounts too then you'll know its all shipshape. :afro:

I would also change the spring plates as they rot through :wink:

Is it a fairly easy job to change the rear shocker what tools will I need ? And how's it done ?
