right then just gone to change my rear pads as car had developed a squeaking from a stuck caliper due to a seized slide in the carrier. thats all sorted and re assembled but on putting wheel back on noticed alot of play in the wheel similar to if nuts where not fully tight. theres no noise or rumbling when car is driven but the play is still there once weight is on car (no unusual wear on tyre either).
now do people think this is just a simple case of tightening bearing or should i just order new ones?

If theres no symptoms other than a tiny bit of play then id just nip it up a tiny bit as they are not meant to be tight anyway, just past finger tight

Well what do you class as a tiny bit of play lol?
With car jacked up and pulling wheel back and forth with hands at 12 and 6 a clock I'd say there's about 2-3 mm movement

Just tighten the bearing a little but be carefull not to overtighten.
