Title: 17563 manifold pressure sensor G71 ?????

anyone know if this is refereing to my MAP sensor or am i totally off?

error code is:

17563 manifold pressure sensor G71 short to B+ P1155 - 35-10- intermittent

Can anyone confirm if a map sensor n a g71 is the same thing?

G71 is the map sensor. bolted to the left hand side of the inlet manifold, more likely to be a wiring issue with that fault code though

Cheers gonna take a look at the wiring this weekend, kinda did suspect wiring as sometimes when i take a corner she gets her ass in gear n actually moves

Still getting use to the powerflex bushes aswell, did the front wishbones rear bush n dogmount aswell, stabilty is wicked, car shakes a bit though

After a eventful few hours tryin to get a broken clip of the map sensor, ive decided to buy some new wiring, only prob is i can find it online anywhere, im 99% sure its a wiring issue but i couldnt find any loose wires, also the wiring from the map sensor seem to join onto another set of wires, is it jus joined into a protective casing?, where can i but the MAP sensor wiring online?

i'm not sure you can get that bit of loom separately, but you can get a replacement plug with the appropriate repair wires from TPS
