Title: anti roll bar bush replacement

hi guys i have just put my mk2 gti in for its mot and its passed but with a few advisories   :smug:

one of which is wear in the front anti roll bar bushes,  :shocked:

my question is what thickness is the bar as there are two options on the euro car parts web site

17mm and 19 mm , which will fit mine ?  :undecided:

 thanks for your input ,also my golf is a 1989 8v 5 door standard set up.

did you find this out?

i believe the 17mm bushes are the ones.

the 19mm ones are for the mk3 arb as its thicker in diameter..dont quote me on this

Get a 17mm spanner, and see if it fits the ARB, if the spanner is too small, then its safe to say, that its a 19mm ARB :rolleyes:
