Title: Hi all, bought a 16v and now
Post by: YODI on 11 July 2005, 08:44
Hi guys and gals,

bought a j plate 16v gold from the pod yesterday, well infact it was the one parked up just before you get to the pod. Lovely car and im really happy with it BUT I want a bit more power.

Who sells the panel filters?? Other than that and an exhaust is there anything else I can do for a bit more power??

Thanks, Yodi

Could also swap the bottom end for a 2 litre from a passat.

AS for the filter and exhaust you mentioned, good options are a k&N panel filter and a Miltek full exhaust with downpipe if you can afford it.

Could also splash out on a 4 branch stainless exhaust manifold. Theres also the option of changing your intake manifolds for the larger size if you currently have the smaller ones. This should increase your top end.
