hi

i have a mk4 golf gti, i have noticed in the last months that when it idles especially after a long journey the revs drop to about 600 which causes it to jerk to about 1k and fluctuate in between. can someone tell me what the problem could be?

fluctuations are often caused by vacuum leaks.. check all the air hoses
