Went to have the car mapped today at Big fish and John done an excellent job, Got it to about 160bhp at the moment as I need a air flow meter then i have to take it back to finish it off to about 175bhp.
My car has the current mods:
150 Intake
130 turbo, injectors and cams
Few other mods but nothing major.
What air flow meter do i need as the car was originally a 115. Do i need a 150 or 115?
Thanks
-
youll want a 150 maf fella, you shoudve put it on before the remap to be honest but its not the end of the world
-
Thanks mate, One to get sorted tomorrow!
The car wasnt running 100% but i thought the 'flat' spots through out the rev range were due to the new bigger injectors which hadnt been mapped to suit. Its going back in again in a week or two to finish it off.

If you don't mind me asking, what have those upgrades set you back?
Interested in squeezing some more out of my 115 block

No bother mate, The 130 turbo, injectors and SMIC intercooler were done by the previous owner, Not sure on cost but approx 500?
Egr delete was about £50
150 intake about £40
de-cat was done myself by cutting out cat and welding in pipe, approx £5
Cams (originals went do got 130 ones put in) £400
Remap + getting the injectors was £275
Car will be running about 175-180bhp next week, 160 at the moment due to few little issued.
If it was a standard 115 i really would bother mate, Would just get a 130 then map it to get same figures but i got a really good buy with mine so i dont mind spending a bit on it.

Yeh, bit of a price tag on all that, but those figures sound tempting  My car was owned by an elderly couple from new, so on the plus side, was unmolested, but the downside, no cheeky 130 turbo, injectors etc
Might just fix the niggley problems first n then just get it mapped. Would like to get it to 150bhp

A map should put it to 145ish. Remove the cat and you may achieve it?
Quick question for some one, I got the 150 MAF today and went to fit it but only one end fits! The part what goes in to the pipe with but the other side with screws in to the airbox is a bigger diameter. what MAF do i need?
-
you could cut the airbox hole bigger. or put a pd150 airbox on it
-
I was going to cut the hole bigger but it has a seal inside so would prefer to get a 150 one and keep it sealed.
Are they a direct replacement, Presuming there exactly the same but with a bigger hole?
-
Are the air boxes the same size? If they are i am going to just try and get hold of the top of a 150 airbox instead of replacing the whole thing.
-
I'm pretty sure they only make one size of air filter to fit the all the range so all boxes must be the same ?
-
150's are the same size but have a bigger diameter hole for the MAF to go in i believe?
I have a 150 MAF i bought the other day and it fits the actual pipe fine but not the airbox as i think its still a standard 115 air box.
