Hi guys
Was looking for mk3 GTI discs around local shops. Well, I only managed to find some expensive ones and they're not really worth it. Then I remembered the Mk4 had the same 5X100 lug pattern and 280-288mm discs(not really sure what size mine are, probably 288mm).
Will they work?

Don't think they would fit mate.

I know the backs are different between golf 3 & 4

I was only looking for the front ones. The back ones are cheap anyways. I'll check the exact dimensions of the mk3 discs and compare them to the mk4.
Although they seem to fit, I haven't really seen this done. We'll see what's what.

Offset of the disc is different iirc

I'm not sure about the disc, but check this one out,
my mk3 gti, needed new brake pads in the front, so I rang local motor factor up, he said bring old pads down so we can match them up,
Nway took then down, and the pads he matched them up with, were mk4 pads, but the mk4 have abs clip sort of thing, so for me to use then I had to chop em off, but the point is, I have mk4 pads, he matched them up using the brake world book, and literally put my pads on the page of the book to match the size lol
ever seen this happen before?
