It appears I may well be joining the GTI club soon.......a to good to miss employee scheme makes it extremely tempting to have one for 6 or 12 months. Question is what colour. Have decided edition 35, 5 door and probably dsg.
So a proper GTI this time not a gtd dressed up like one ; )
-
Go for a white ed35....that would be the dogs bollocks...
-
There is a 5 door dsg in white in uk port.......with my name on it.
-
That was a short thread!
-
The staff scheme is a good one. One of the lads at hunters (inchcape) was telling me about it. I used to do them all of the time through IFS.
-
Are these schemes as good as they used to be Lee? Back in the 90's I used to sell Fiats. I got my Dad a Brava on a scheme like this. The PCP deposit was something like £2k deposit followed by 12 monthlys of £14 (fourteen). At the end of the year he still had £2k equity in the car. I know it was a sh1t car, but motoring doesn't get much cheaper.

Yes CW all the way....

Basically if I don't have the company car anymore the edition 35 with no deposit is going to cost me around £100 a month. Can get a new one every 6 months or 12 months which ever I decide from the start.

Just been tooling round in a 5 mile old Passat CC that has only just come off a transporter from Cheltenham VW. Nice bit of kit.

Will take some pictures tomorrow then who can post them for me? Only have iPad and iPhone. Have her in our heated handover bay waiting for next week.

Keeping her inside for few days to get any moisture out of it. 4 radiators on door closed windows open keeping her safe.

Very nice mate, guess you'll be getting a coat of wax on her in ya lunch break?

The Eastern European guys are primed.…also weekly clean secured after I found then a nice 330i today. Y Reg one owner from new customer with Tiguan dsg that has arrived 5 months early.
-
You not gonna do it yourself?
-
Whats causing the condensation Lee, fished out a river or something?
Do most dealers have hand over bays? When I got my brand new Golf it was just sitting in the car park  Its a nice touch that.
-
Don't know just where cleaners I guess have left moisture in it. Should be fine now been in there warm and cosy for two days. All the cars on the pitch this time of year are the same.
Wish I had the time at work to do it myself but don't and trust the main guy we have to do it.
It will be filthy within 10seconds of leaving.
-
Looks nice but looks like the bonnet / front bumper is slightly misaligned, as was the case with mine and with a few others. Could just be the photo tho.
-
Looks stunning!!!

-
Stunning mate, hope you've got ya keyring, lol.
No sign of keyring! Took it out on Thursday for a spin to see how the ride was on the 18's vs the 19's and it sealed the deal. Also to see how bad on fuel it was...... But a full tank will last me a month probably.
-
You will get a keyring in the post....

Can't get the PDI staff
Any decent salesman would of taken it off : ) the fact I handed it over to myself means I missed out a few things.....I was taking to much effort to stick the plates on straight. Then took it out for a gentle run, how I have lived with a car with out xenons I will never know they not only make driving in the dark a piss take but they look so epic.
How's your dad Al?

He's good, enjoying his retirement in Wickes. He pops in every so often to buy screen wash, wipers e.t.c. Glad you have joined the mk6 clan again?
-
Have to say I agree with the xenon's Lee, if I could tick only one option it would be the xenon's.
Lots of night driving even in the summer I can drive 4 hours non-stop to scotland and get out the car with no back ache or eye strain, marvelous stuff!

Very nice Lee, but is the sun picking up swirls on the tailgate. or is it just my eyes?
