Its getting colder but i dont get any warm air . Ive changed the heater matrix but still no luck.
When i just start the engine, i get heat for the first say 5-8 mins but then it gets cold.
help!! plz!!

Does the car run ok? or does it overheat? Sounds like a blockage in one of the pipes going into the matrix maybe. Thats presuming there is coolant in the system ;)

The car runs fine and their is coolant... :P
any more ideas?

Have you checked the by-pass valve between the 2 pipes that connect to the matrix, just a suggestion as this could be faulty. Run the engine for 10 minutes, then disconnect the inlet hose to the matrix , restart the engine and see if there is a good flow of coolant.

My car used to do the same as such but would probaly take a bit longer to blow cold.
after a while of head scratching a mechanic friend of mine noticed the rubber pipe from the metal pipe attached to engine going to the heater matrix (hope that made sense) was kinked, it should have a bend anyway but not like this was, ?6 from vag and it seems to have been cured,
Definately worth a look at

I worked it out... it was the heater matrix by - pass valve. I get loads of heat now... theres a kink in the rubber pipe which i will sort out.. thanks mate

Right again then ;)
