The VW dealer im getting the car from do it as a dealer fit accesory.

thanks! Looks good.
-
My neighbour has this fitted in his T5 and it looks great, he's had the the tv tuner module added too which is quite fancy.

When I pick the car up tomorrow afternoon ill take some interior shots of the unit so you can see it. Did look very nice in the car and as it was dealer fitted (by previous owner) its all linked up to everything properly. The dealer fits and supplies the units for £1049 if anyone is interested.
Also think the unit is detachable as well which is a nice feature :)

Good choice you have made there sir, I have a red 3door myself.
I would agree with mr gtd that you should consider some rear led lights, they look the business!

Thanks :). Yeah hopefully get some better pics once I've got it going to be a long day at work tomorrow counting time till can pick it up!
Before this I've been in a seat Ibiza Cupra which I'm sad to see go as its a stunning car but with all the engine issues people been having with the 1.4tsi and it being out of warranty I've decided to trade in
. I'm sure the gti won't disappoint though!

I'll have to look into this quick search on forum showed a thread recommending these

Thanks for all comments and advice :)

I have been looking and that's a good price, do you need to be careful on LHD vs RHD buying from Europe in respect of he fog light location?
-
yes.
-
I'm looking at a car with this head unit. Did you happen to notice whether it worked with the mfsw and whether track names etc appear in the instrument cluster display?
I would assume they do?

LED tails: http://www.carsystems.pl/golf-mk6-r20-led-taillights-for-uk-and-rhd-market-adapter-5k0945093ag-5k0945094ag,id384.html It's a crime not to fit them.

Well picked the car up yesterday and had a nice 2 hour drive home with it from Derby and all I can say is what a car! The level of comfot is leaps and bounds above the ibiza and the acceleration is so smooth through the gears makes for such a fantastic drive :) Anyway im sure you all know how great the ride is so instead here is a few shots I took today hope you like :)

If you mean the DRL's they're H15's and not available, although if you mean turn the DRL's off then i agree!

Thanks the colour does look amazing :)
Yeah the head unit is great, easy to use and sound is fantastic. The bluetooth set up to the phone was quick and easy and automatically shows full phonebook with numbers and names and the sat nav unit is flawless.
Only critisism with it so far is that it doesnt work with the mdi unit in the armrest as the unit doesnt have any rear outputs but ill be using a USB stick in the front so wont bother me and as it came all ready installed in the car im not complaining :).
