Title: Need help on part numbers please? :/
Post by: markallen on 24 September 2012, 12:34
Hi my engine management light came on so a friend erased the codes then after a test drive it came back with the following codes. Just wondered if anyone knows the part numbers for these? It's a Mk4 1.8T

P1340 cam shaft position sensor
P0571 brake switch
P0327 knock sensor signal too low
P0501 speed sensor

Thanks for any information given :)

Before going and replacing parts...are they actually at fault?

Can get you the proper numbers if you want.

They are your fault code numbers.

Put them into the search here and find out why they were triggered

I've done that mate thanks. Had my timing belt done last week so could be incorrectly installed. Will have to use a garage I know and trust next time! Saying that it could all be down to the sensors I guess? :/
