Title: best place to get a low temp thermostat for a 97 vr6
Post by: gti gaz on 23 September 2012, 21:07: as title realy after a low temp thermo for my vr just looking for the best place to get one not the kinda thing i wanna get from gaybay chears :grin:

since stripping the front end not confident on the cooling :grin:

The car will be cold all the time during winter and running the start up map!

oil still sits over 90 so engine runs fine.

Post by: robo22sri on 24 September 2012, 11:34: Yup had one, as you say oil temps fine bit MPG down because the cooling system stat open earlier

If your stat etc is all good the cooling system will work spot on, no need for a lower temp stat
