Heys guys its a hard one to explain but il do my best, basicly when i go up a slight hill around 30-40mph its like the car slows rite down and struggles so im normally in 4th gear so i have to change down its happend afew times and its done it 2nd gear about 20mph its strange its a 1.8T 20v engine hope some-one can shed some light??
-
Fault codes? Sounds like a pressure drop or maybe a over boost issue.
-
Ok il get a code reader 2nite and put codes up and go from there, thanks for your reply.
-
The code is 00575 ive looked on google but it sounds like it could be anything, manifol absolute pressure but does any-one have any simple ways for me to look out for? Many thanks
-
What engine code is yours?
-
Aum i think il go check
-
Scrap that its a AGU engine
-
Can anyone shed any light on this plaese and what i should be looking for?
-
AGU limp modes are typically load based where engine cant match the load wanted by ECU, or vice versa.
Have you checked all the pipework and done logs on the N75 valve and MAF sensor to see whats going on?
-
Thanks for ya help chris, all ive done is put code reader on and came up with the above code, i will check hoses during the week when i have more time it does it when its hot i cant say ive noticed it when cold.
-
Could be a maf sensor issue, but might not be.
Id be checking over all the hoses for any signs of splits etc.
-
Ok il go over all rubber hoses, but it says exhaust absolute pressure i thought if it would be maf sensor it would come up with that code?
-
I cant see any hoses split or out but some-one said about the small plug thing thats connected to the air mass sensor it has one bolt each side of the sensor and could be this rather than the mass sensor its self?? Or what about the wastegate adjuster its has a small screw in it could some one have turned it up abit? Im all out of ideas and its really bugging me
-
Could it be this (barometric sensor)?
-
Anyone with info could help!!
