I'm seriously thinking of selling/breaking the mk3.
At the moment the car is looking a little worse for wear underneath, the sills are rotten and the o/s wing has a little hole at the bottom.
Also the gearbox is sounding a little noisy, although is still maintaining gears.
I'm thinking sell the rims and then break the car.
Are alloys selling at the moment though?
was thinking about £450 for the rims, then if I got about £400 from selling the parts off the car I'd be happy.

What engine is in it?
I might have a few bits off the car if it's an 8v and your local
-
What rims are you selling??
-
Surely its not going to cost alot to get the sills welded? its a shame to break such a lovely motor???
-
Don't worry about the engine/gearbox stuff, its all about the shell.
If you cant afford/be bothered to fix it properly then its time to move on
