Guys,
My front tires are wearing loads more on the insides than the outsides. I take it that is because the alignment needs doing, however on past documentation i can see one of the garages tried to do it but found the adjuster on the link seized. I presume this means I need to replace one of the steering rods? how easy is this and where best to source the right parts?
thanks!

if your car is non-pas then the passenger side track rod end is most likely fixed and not adjustable as per factory. only the driver side track rod is adjustable.
so a garage needs to dial the wheels in straight ahead using the passenger side wheel & then adjust the driver side track rod end so that its wheel is straight ahead. Then remove & refit the the steering wheel if it is off centre.
DO NOT LET THEM SET THE CAR AS STRAIGHT AHEAD USING THE STEERING WHEEL.
If you have PAS then you have an adjustable track rod either side, ignore all of the above, it can be adjusted like most normal cars lol
tracking and camber settings:-
tracking = tracked straight ahead, no toe in or toe out
camber = 1degree negative camber each side

It has PAS and I belive the problem is that one of the track rods is seized... hence my query on replacing it...

dead on (didnt know if your car did or didnt have PAS hence the explanation) then you can replace the complete track/tie rod, rather than just the track/tie rod end then if they cant get it off
trackrod wont be seized as its not exposed its behind the inner bellow

Ive recently done this and euro car parts were cheaper for the tie rod and end than gsf for just the end
