Were there any mk3 calipers with banjo fittings or were all mk3 items screw in type?
Need to know if the age or trim effected this please (280 / 288 mm etc.)

My front calipers are circular banjo, 97 288
Rears are a square banjo iirc.

Hi CJA - by 'circular banjo' do you mean there is a square end to the hose, with a hole through it, through which a banjo bolt passes to secure the hose to the caliper?
Sorry, need to be clear here!

Would of origonally been square i think, but thats the goodridge hose kit that has circular banjo holes for the banjo bolt and a circular end rather than square. But there not the screw in type of flexi/caliper anyway.

I think that was the response we were looking for.

Just a note, a couple of motorfactors I use are adament that they are VR6 brakes and even if you give them late GTI reg numbers they still try to supply the screw in type and tell you they have had VR6 brakes put on.

Could very well be VR6 calipers that I have got to be honest.

All late Gti 8/16 and vr6 are same calipers
Should all be screw in

So were there ANY mk3 calipers that had banjo's?
The ones I've got on, are banjo fittings, but will match up to a mk3 disk perfectly, not needing a spacer like your mk4 items?
