Title: starter motor problems??????

hi guys can anyone help my mk3 gti wont start the starter motor keeps clicking and wont turn engine over i put a set of jump leads on from my van today and it started no clicking i can only think starter had it or could it be the battery any ideas would be helpfull as im not great with cars to be honest :smiley:

Either flat battery or starter solenoid I assume..

If it started from a jump then it's a flat battery  :laugh:
