Title: Golf gti mk4 jolting under load and boost and engine management light on

Hi I was out for a little drive yesterday when I was two miles from home I noticed a slight jolting when I put my foot down then all of a sudden the engine management light came on, Other than that car is fine no smoke or knocks or anything only the fact mpg has gone down a tiny bit any help would be great.

could be anything mate, get it scanned for fault codes

Ignition coil? Mine went a little at first (same symptoms) then gave up completely a few miles further down the road.

Yeah got her plugged in coil on cylinder number two, So go all of them fixed today rather than just the one and it's running like a dream again so happy days cheers.
