I have bought 2/3rd's of my flat now, feels like I've been paying it for years......oh wait I have

I also had an expensive day, one trip to Brighton, a hand bag and a pair of 6 inch heel Goth boots.....

Cheeky bugger

As for the debt, thanks to a rather unfortunate year family wise between me and the gf and the ridiculously cheap house prices in France we're actually buying without a mortgage!

Congrats, I got the keys to my first house 2 weeks ago...it's a great feeling

Thats the feeling I'm waiting for, just got a mountain of paperwork and legalities to get through first!

Good on you I love France, me and the misses are looking to go back on a permenant basis.
Her folks have an empty house in Avignon which I am eyeing up :lipsrsealed: although I would rather be in the Ardeche if I had a choice.
Looking into getting married out there next year, just hope this does not make me French by default
