Ignore this, you'll end up having your policy cancelled when you cannot produce NCB proof.

Your best bet is going to be to find an insurer who can 'mirror' your NCB over to the second vehicle, we may be able to help with this.  For the purpose of obtaining quotations via computer generated sites, yes you have 0 year NCB free to use.

Id just tell them you have 4 years(http://www.aldg.info/qinping2.jpg)

Then get your policy cancelled/hit with a large additional premium when the insurer finds out it's already in use.

As with everything when it comes to insurance, tell the truth.

cant he just call up his current insurance company to send him his proof of NCD? or would he have to cancell it first to get that?

The NCB is in use so the active policy would need to be cancelled to free up the NCB.

We can offer no claim bonus mirror policy where if you have NCB on another car we can mirror it accorss onto a new quote.

It means that you recieve the discount as if you have the NCB on the policy when in fact its a fresh policy. You will then start to build up NCB on the new policy as well.

That way you get the best of both worlds. It can also lead to competetive premiums as you may be able to reduce/split the mileage on both cars allowing for reduced mileage conession on both policies.

If anyone is looking for a quote on this type of policy please dont hesitate to get in touch via PM or call me at the office on 01277 37600
