Title: Info missing on V5 for GTI TURBO

Hi folks, been to look at a Gti turbo that was personally euro imported.

All seems OK, full docs etc, but the info on the V5 is scant.
ONly has engine size (listed as 1800 and not 1781) and no model info. Just says VW Golf and correct colour. CHassis number is correct, but no engine number. NO alarm bells from HPI

Now, everything (including the seller) and loads of history seems perfect, any reason why this should be so? innocent mistake / lack of info given when registering the car in the UK? Can i rectify this?

Thoughts?

Ring up the DVLA with the info, they can check the database, check em out from web. you can even check the V5 from web i think?
