Cheers for any help guys

apparently, it's used to deactivate the alarm incase you leave a pet in the car etc.
not sure about your head unit, but since installing mine, it doesnt turn the sub off when the car is off.
check if yours stays on?

Leaking rear wiper motor - making the micro switch in the boot latch wet and causing the alarm to go off and making the battery flat ?

i just realised actually, since my sub was installed, it would set my alarm off.
one night my alarm kept going off at 3 in the morning, and it did it every half hour for a few times.
went out to check the car, turned out the sub was going off randomly! had to make a switch to turn it off!

Cheers guys will have to check it all out once my battery is charged up how can I go about fitting a switch to turn sub off if it is that sorry never had to fit one before lol it's a vibe active sub if that makes any difference lol It's just funny how it's only just started as I fitted it all last week and was fine on Monday but I havnt moved the car since as I've been using the wife's lol

i just used a switch from halfords, and stuck it in the rem cable. then mounted it in one of the blank buttons by the hazard switch.
i have a vibe sub too. there should be like a square symbol that lights up behind the sub, on the amp!

do it properly, the stereo will have an ignition live which you run a wire to the remote terminal of your amp.
a switch would work but if you forget to flick it your stuck again
