Title: Is it true?
Post by: tweed on 13 September 2012, 10:41
That a 2.8 4motion can get same figures as a r32 with simple bolt on mods. De-cat and miltek exhaust.

If that's true what is suspected from the engine with head ported and a set of cams. Also lightend and balanced bottom end?

I'm looking at buying one to put in my mk3 would much rather the v6 over a 1.8t but if it won't get much more power than 230bhp with said mods, then maybe a 1.8t is better.

Yeah I keep searching and keep finding threads saying, get them mapped to same as r32 but without the weight.
