Ive got new OEM clutch and brake pedal rubbers and im looking for the accelorator one. any ideas where i can find this?
It has to be OEM as my interior is colour coded back.
Cheers big ears

accelerator pedal doesn't have a rubber. it doesn't need to have one. as its not that important if your foot slips off.
-
the accelorator pedal looks very bare dont u think?
Cheers for the info

I've seen somewhere that audi TT pedal covers fit on a MK2 golf, they have an accelerator cover too. I'll try and find the article for you.
-
yep get the TT pedals, thats what i have on mine
i have a pic of them, but i cant host it anywhere!! i can email it if you want
these are the part numbers u need, u need two TT clutch pedal rubbers & a LHD accelerator pedal
the TT brake pedal doesnt fit, hence the need for 2 clutch pedals - cost about ?25 all in

thanx email the pics to sat1s1ngh@hotmail.com if you get time.

they look neat. Would i have to drill these or will they slip over my pedals?
-
nah they just slip over, they have a rubber backing just like the normal OEM pads, u just attach the top lip then pull other lips out & over
the accelerator one has to be bent a little but all will become apparent once you have them ready to fit
taking the surround for the fuse box helped give me a bit more access, but also allowed to put on a bolt adjuster to bring the clutch pedal back level with the brake pedal, before it sat about an inch higher
-
can i get these from a VW dealer or shall i visit an Audi one? :-\
-
I think i must have seen your post on here gambit as it rings a bell what you said above. Good work fella.
-
Could You send a pic to VW8916vGTI@hotmail.com. I bought a set of pads from halfords a while back and they didn't seem like they would fit right so I took them back. if these are what I am thinking I'll drop around Audi and get some in.
Cheers,
Brad

just go to your nearest VW or Audi dealer for them
