Hi folks,
Wasnt too sure where to put this. Bit of a strange request. I have a friend from home who's currently working over in Aigburth, Liverpool. He's recently bought a 2005 Leon Cupra R, and today on the way home from work it "lost all power". Flashing cell light too. I suspect a coilpack, but he'd like to get it scanned asap as he's a bit worried.
I have a diagnostics machine and a spare coilpack here, but I wont be over with him until the weekend. Would there be anyone close to Aigburth that would possibly have a spare few minutes to scan the car for him and see what the fault is?
Any help greatly appreciated!
Barry

It's driving but obviously not too great. I'm flying into Liverpool myself on Friday. Thanks for the offer though, much appreciated

We were due to fly in for the weekend anyway. He hasn't had much luck getting any coil packs this side of the weekend so luckily I've diagnostics gear a few spare coils here. Should have him up and running, firing on all 4 by this time tomorrow.
His personal pitcrew flying in from Dublin :D
