Title: 1.6 struggling to start
Post by: murraymint on 11 September 2012, 18:20
Need some help. My 1.6 is struggling to start. It's happend twice now once on Sunday and today after work. But today was worse. I put the key in the ignition and the radio comes on as normal. But then I turn the key and it turns over slowly but dosnt fire and also the clocks reset themselves and the clocks made a kinda fussing/bussing sound?, once the car is started its fine and also start fine once warm. I thort that it's gotta be the electrics or a dodgy earth?

Any ideas?

I did think this, but although it turns over slowly, it kinda builds momentum. Will try another battery tho
