Anyone know if there is a way of switching the ding ding ding off for the seatbelt warning thingy???

I use my car on private land (at slow speeds) and it drives me mad other than turn the radio up, is there a way around it anyone???

Incidentally, my GTI's seat be;t warning chime and light seems to be deactivated! Same for the other Mk V Golfs i've come across here in Singapore - they have no seat belt warning lights or buzzer... really strange
