VW were very forthcoming with a price, but not a part number. So i asked again specifically for the part number & they've now decided to ignore.
Anyone here have access?
EDIT: Just in case anyone does, then to save the back & forth time...
The part required is a turbo for a 2002 plated (02) 1.9 TDI 100bhp. The only info VW gave is the following:
New Unit £1439.99 or a service exchange unit@ £906.94.
Obviously wont be parting with this money, but a part number would be handy.

Get the turbo off, have a look at the part numbers stamped on it, search via eBay, using the part numbers, and you should find one in very good condition, for a few hundred quid, your Quids In...
Save a lot of time and money... or you could get the old one recond, for half that price...
