Lowering springs in general tend to give quite a harsh ride when not used alongside shortened dampers. The low profile tyres won't help it much either. It may settle down though after a few hundred miles.

Are you running 19s aswell ?
Them wheels look pretty big, maybe because there black, if you are that will add quite a lot to the hard ride,

yes mate there 19 s , to be honest i wouldnt have lowered it but the wheels jacked it up to the size of a small monster truck

Maybe the Eibach pro's mights have been a tad better with the 19's but hindsight is a wonderful thing but still good springs.

Absolutely looooove your van BTW, it looks a right stunner!

I think you will get a bit of a crashy ride on 19s and just springs ?
Have you still got the 17 or 18s that came with the car, could be worth trying them on and see what difference it makes

Running the Eibach Sportlines and standard shocks on my car without issue, not really noticed any difference to the ride quality...quick pic too lol.

Ah sorry assumed you had a GTi too, I would suspect the standard Gti shocks are slightly shorter than other models so ride slightly smoother.

Yours is looking great too

eibach sportline i think they were pal

got sportlines on mine and it only lowered the car around 15-20mm front and back

i would probably say the ride comfort would be worse on OEM dampers but usually eibachs ride very well so i guess its a combination of the 19's and lowering the car.

ive got bilsteins on mine and the car rides beautifully. very good stuff

Definately because its got the 19's and the amount you have gone down.  The standard shocks will be under so much pressure, i know its not the same but when I had my old punto down 35mm it was horrendous but when it had coilovers it was lower but the ride was better.

By the way, fair play on the GTI replica, looks really smart.
