Thoughts??

They look a lot cleaner without them plus you get rid of mud /watertraps.
-
Yh, Take them off. If you wanna know how. Do what I did..... Just rip em off!
-
It's a tough one!
My gti has them and looks great.
My vr6 doesn't and is fully smoothed (euro) and also looks great.
If your going to leave the exterior and just want to remove the arches, don't bother.
But if you colour code the bumpers, remove the skirts and rear spoiler, then go for it
-
Yh agree with tweed. I ripped mine off, but I also took off the sill covers, and I'm colour coding the bumpers and side trim
-
im thinking about spraying mine in satin black but with the red pinstripe going all way around but sprayed in (if you know what i mean)
-
Cheers everyone. Am defo thinking of colour coding bumpers so will wait till then. How much u think it will cost me to have both bumpers plus side skirts done??

Cheaper to find colour coded bumpers on eBay.
Leave the side skirts off for a much cleaner look.
Look in the mk3 appreciation thread for ideas and what I'm trying to suggest.

Thanks Tweed, I know wat u mean about e bay but my car is mystic blue and never seen coloured coded

True! If ya got dragon green then your sorted lol
I couldn't say on a price.
No point paying top money and getting a really good quality job, because it won't match the orange peel effect from Volkswagen
