Title: Lag in pick up of acceleration in 1st

Just put down deposit for a mk6 gti, top spec all extras bar sat nav. Very excited!

One thing I noticed however but forgot to mention to the stealer is that pulling away in first there was a slight lag in pick up of acceleration. Is this normal? My mk5 gti's pick up in first is instant. Thanks guys

That doesn't sound right bud, the mk6 should pull instantly without any hesitation ?
Get them to check it out and it sounds like you got a good specced car there  :smiley:

Exactly that belix. Cheers for response. Sounds like its a common issue. Didn't know bout new electronic throttle. Will mention it to stealer tho.

Will hopefully pick her up in a few weeks and will get some pics and full spec for you all to enjoy!

Just been to VW garage and i pick up my new car a week Wednesday. Really excited now!
